Genetic analysis is not just a test. It is a key stage that could change the entire course of Matviy's treatment.
The pregnancy went well, as did the birth. But in the first months of his life, doctors noticed some worrying signs: Matviy did not focus his gaze, did not respond to his name, could not hold his head up, and did not acquire the skills necessary for his age.
At 18 months, the boy was diagnosed with organic CNS damage and mixed tetraplegia. Later, he developed structural epilepsy, which he has been battling for almost four years.
To understand the origin of the epileptic seizures, choose the most accurate treatment plan, and evaluate the possibility of surgery, Matviy needed expensive genetic testing.
And thanks to kind people and the support of caring individuals, our Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation was able to pay for this research.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supports our beneficiaries. Matviy has been given a chance for the future — and we created this chance together.
Your donations and sharing of information do not go unnoticed. Your good deeds prove that there is still a lot of light, humanity and care in the world.
Thank you for helping children even in difficult times. Every hryvnia you donate is hope. Every contribution is a step towards health. Every bit of support is faith that keeps us going.
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
