Genetic analysis is an important step in diagnosing Kamila!

Kamila was born in the wonderful city of Kharkiv. The birth was difficult — hypoxia, cephalohematoma, prolonged jaundice... but the girl developed wonderfully and quickly mastered all the skills.

However, after a year, her mother began to notice alarming changes — Kamila stopped responding to her name, lost eye contact, and began to lose her skills.
War, moving, stress — all of this further affected the child's condition. After lengthy examinations, doctors made a diagnosis:
mild mental retardation, severe speech disorders, vision problems, and behavioural issues.
Kamila is almost 5 years old, but her development corresponds to that of a 2-year-old. She does not speak, does not understand spoken language, is selective in her food, and needs constant adult assistance.
To understand the cause of this condition and determine the best course of treatment, doctors recommended expensive genetic testing.
Thanks to your support and the Foundation's assistance, this testing was paid for!
The child will be able to receive a more accurate diagnosis and a chance for more effective treatment.
