When partners take action: An Easter care package for a special needs school!

As Easter approaches, we want to do more than just talk about kindness – we want to take action!

The Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation responded to the appeal from the Berezivka Special School for Children with Hearing Impairments and, together with its trusted partner, Foodcom, provided
the school with everything it needed.

This is not just help – it is care that is evident in the details. A full range of food items was delivered to the kitchen: meat, vegetables, fruit, juices, sweets, vegetable oil,  butter, cheese, sauces, as well as dried fruit – dried apricots, prunes, aromatic spices, salt and even cinnamon for comforting dishes. In total — over several tonnes of produce, which the children are already enjoying today.
The school also received significant support in the form of hygiene products and household cleaning supplies.

The school is attended by 148 children who have hearing impairments combined with delays in mental or intellectual development. Here, they are on a challenging but extremely important journey — a journey towards integration into society, through education, development and comprehensive rehabilitation.
And it is precisely these acts of support that make this journey a little tastier, easier and more comfortable.
