We dream of hearing Veronika's voice!

This is six-year-old beautiful Veronika, who does not speak yet, but dreams of singing. The child's diagnosis: congenital cortical malformation, lissencephaly-pachygyria, lower paraparesis, persistent motor disorders, delayed sex-kinetic and psycho-speech development.

Symptomatic epilepsy, frequent resistant polymorphic seizures.

Veronika was born a seemingly healthy child. At first, she was diagnosed with minor hydrocephalus, which was immediately treated. After 6 months, her mother began to notice a lag in the child's development. At the age of one, the girl could not even stand on her own. Only after an MRI of the brain did the doctors diagnose a congenital malformation of the cerebral cortex. The parents did not give up, they immediately began physical rehabilitation of their daughter. At the age of 3, Veronika was diagnosed with a concomitant diagnosis: Veronika has pharmacoresistant epilepsy, which, unfortunately, cannot be cured. Constant sessions with specialists are making a difference, but Veronika still does not speak and has musculoskeletal disorders and some developmental delays. Of course, ongoing rehabilitation and treatment are expensive and the family lacks funds. Therefore, the mother turned to the Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation for help in paying for the next rehabilitation course.
The Foundation paid for the necessary course of classes for Veronica. We believe in this beautiful girl and dream of hearing her voice .

We are grateful to the eight people who contributed to the child's rehabilitation. Only systematic training can help children with similar diagnoses learn to walk, talk and take care of themselves.
It is impossible to deny children the joy of seemingly elementary achievements.
