Vladislav's strength of spirit is stronger than pain!

In July 2022, Vladislav's family's life was divided into ‘before’ and ‘after’...
It was a normal summer day, relaxing by the water, a cheerful 14-year-old boy who loved sports, football and sambo...But one moment changed everything. An unsuccessful jump into the water — and a terrible diagnosis: broken cervical vertebrae, spinal cord injury, loss of mobility.
Vladislav survived by a miracle . But then began a difficult journey — a struggle for every movement, for independence, for a return to a full life.
The Foundation paid for Vladislav's rehabilitation course, which he desperately needed. We rejoice in his successes and see his small but significant victories:
he has become physically stronger,
learned to control his body better,
become more mobile and confident,
and enjoyed all the procedures — from massages and swimming to ergotherapy and kinesitherapy.
For Vladislav, this is a huge step forward. Each rehabilitation session is another chance to get closer to his dream: to be independent and return to an active life.
‘We are infinitely grateful to the Bonum Ukraine Foundation, doctors, therapists, and all the people who support our boy. Because together, you give children not only treatment, but also hope and faith in tomorrow,’ says Vladislav's mother.
