The girl was 6 years old when she was diagnosed with a posture disorder. Later, it turned out to be a 2nd degree scoliosis. Physical therapy, massages, and sanatoriums did not help much. The disease progressed rapidly. In a few years, Veronika's chest was shifted to the side and a hump began to grow. Although she tried to stand up straight and pretend not to notice it, it did not change the fact that she was “different”. At the age of 12, the girl learned about the Chenault corset when she already had the 4th degree of scoliosis. Wearing it was like a sentence for the teenager. Veronika was ashamed of the corset, hated it, hated herself. It constricted her body, making it difficult to walk, sit, eat, and even breathe. It was a real challenge for her. Unfortunately, the corset did not help her and did not stop the disease.
She needed to undergo an urgent surgery, as her progressive idiopathic adolescent scoliosis had already reached several angles of curvature: 54 degrees - proximal thoracic, 80 - main thoracic, 46 - lumbar, and she could not stand it any longer.
The Foundation helped Veronika and paid for an expensive operation and a set of necessary implants. The doctors' predictions are successful. Soon Veronika will have a slim, beautiful body and good posture.
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
