The ‘Bonum Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation helped Ulyanka, who has a severe form of cerebral palsy, to undergo another course of rehabilitation. And we are absolutely delighted with the results of her sessions.
After the course, Ulyanka began to eat a little on her own, learnt to drink from a bottle, and started making new sounds. She has become better at standing and has gradually started to support herself on her hands again.
The little girl has become more interested in what is going on around her: she focuses better on objects, can choose what she wants, carries out simple tasks and plays with a ball. She is also regaining the ability to pick up objects with her left hand.
To some, these might seem like very small changes. But for Ulyanka and her mum, they are huge victories, achieved through daily effort, patience and hard work.
“I’m so happy – I simply can’t put it into words. Thank you so much once again for this rehabilitation,” says Ulyanka’s mum.
And we’re celebrating alongside the child and her parents, and we’d like to thank shoppers at the ‘Velmart’, ‘Velyka Kyshenya’ and ‘Express’ supermarkets.
Your donation of 10 hryvnias at the self-service checkouts works wonders for the foundation’s beneficiaries!
Parents, children and we are sincerely grateful to you for your kindness and support #Bonum!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
