Together, let’s build a future for Bohdanchik!

Bonum is doing everything it can to help three-year-old Bohdanchik take his first steps towards a full life.

Bogdanchik was born with severe asphyxia. Immediately after birth, he was transferred to the intensive care unit, where the little boy spent two long months. Later, doctors diagnosed him with hydrocephalus. Since then, the family has been fighting for their child’s health every day.
After being discharged, Bohdanchyk underwent numerous examinations, including at Okhmatdyt in Kyiv, where he was given another complex diagnosis — cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegia. The little boy cannot hold his head up, sit, chew or look after himself on his own, so rehabilitation is vital.
Currently, with the support of the Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation, Bohdanchik has undergone a course of treatment in Truskavets at the Kozyavkin Clinic. And the first, crucial results are already visible: he has started to respond better to his surroundings, smiles more often, has shown new emotions, and is making his first attempts to hold his head up whilst sitting.

#BonumUkraine has supported Bohdanchyk by funding his rehabilitation course, as it is precisely such opportunities that give children a chance for development and a new life. We are genuinely delighted by every small achievement and believe that there are many more victories ahead for our young charge!
