Thanks to the skills of the doctors, Tetiana's courage and the latest technology, the operation was successful! The request to the Foundation was non-standard: expensive implants were needed to perform surgery on the Da Vinci robot surgical system.
Tetiana was born prematurely. She was diagnosed with O'Zhen's syndrome and a congenital spinal malformation. Since she was three years old, this is her 9th surgery and not the last (it is carried out in several stages). She has a titanium growing structure installed in her spine, which allowed to stop the curvature of the spine.
Recently, Tatyana's stomach began to hurt and after an MRI, the child was diagnosed with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome type II. It was necessary to operate urgently.
The most effective way to perform the surgery was to use a minimally invasive surgical approach using the Da Vinci robot system.
Of course, the Foundation responded to the request of the girl's mother to purchase a suitable individual set of tools for the system and purchased it.
The operation was successful, there is no threat to the child's life, and Tetiana is recovering.
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
