Olya is a long-awaited child in the family. Unfortunately, she had developmental disabilities from birth. When Olya was 1 year old, she had an epileptic seizure. The initial examination failed to find the root cause, so the child was referred to the Kharkiv Medical Genetic Center.
There, Olya was confirmed to have a set of complex diagnoses, including: sulfur-containing amino acid metabolism disorder, movement disorder syndrome, epilepsy, and delayed psycho-speech development.
Despite the terrible diagnoses, Olya radiates positivity, loves to hug and loves music. Olya does not speak yet, but her mother believes in her and together they are working hard to achieve results.
Now Olya is constantly taking anticonvulsants. In Olya's case, the developmental delay is manifested not only in the absence of speech - the brain is inactive. This leads to certain behavioral disorders.
To improve the child's condition, the Foundation paid for a rehabilitation course.
The mother is satisfied with the results of the course: “The rehabilitation was a success! New sounds and even two words “tuta” and “Vova” appeared. I started to feel more confident on the stairs. Also, I received a lot of advice from the psychologist about the child's behavioral issues.
We are infinitely grateful to the Bonum Foundation for paying for the excellent rehabilitation.”
The Foundation, in turn, never ceases to thank the visitors of Velmart, Velyka Kyshenya and Express supermarkets! Thanks to their donations, Olya was able to take the course and started talking, and this is a significant step towards socialization and a healthy childhood for the girl!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
