The Foundation is once again supporting Viktor!

Vitya was born with bilateral clubfoot, a congenital foot deformity. From the moment he was born, his little legs underwent a complex course of treatment: plaster casts, an achillectomy, nearly three months in plaster casts with weekly recasting, braces, various procedures and the constant dedication of his parents.

Vitya took his first independent steps at 1 year and 7 months. And by the age of three, it seemed that the worst was behind him.

But it was then that his legs began to deform again.

The doctors said he would need operations and implants. In the autumn of 2025, thanks to the ‘Bonum Ukraine’ charity and the people who donated to it, Vitya underwent two complex operations.

However, during the first operation, the doctors discovered another problem — dislocations of the kneecaps in both legs. If the necessary treatment is not carried out, the joint deformities will progress, and Vitya may lose the ability to walk normally.

Our young charge is now four years old. He loves playgrounds, running, going down slides, playing football and dancing.

But today, all of this is difficult for him.He gets tired quickly, stops and says to his mum:“Mum, my legs hurt. Pick me up.”

And instead of playing, they go home. So that the child can walk again, the ‘Bonum Ukraine’ Foundation has once more paid for the necessary implants for his right leg; the left leg will be treated later.

Because helping isn’t just about performing a single operation. It’s about being there when the child needs support again!
