Sonya was born on a symbolic day—Ukraine's Independence Day. But her first moments of life were not festive at all... The girl did not cry after birth, so doctors rushed her to intensive care and put her on a ventilator. Later, the child began to have seizures, and Sonya was taken to DKL No. 1, where her parents could only see her twice a week...
After two weeks on life support and under the care of doctors, she began to breathe on her own, and she was finally transferred to the infant ward and allowed to be with her mother.
When Sonya was one year old, doctors gave her a difficult diagnosis: cerebral palsy.
At five years old, she received another diagnosis: epilepsy. The child had no seizures until the age of five, but then the convulsions returned. During her treatment, the girl was switched to two different medications. Now she needs 100 mg of Lamictal and ongoing rehabilitation.
Thanks to your support,
the Foundation has purchased a year's supply of necessary medications for Sonya. This is a real birthday present for her!
Sonya is sincere and gentle. She loves modern music, playing with beads, and spending time with her mother. She deserves a full childhood without pain!
We thank everyone who contributed to the “Medicine for Children” Foundation program. You have given a child the most desirable gift—a life without seizures.
Let's not stop! Let's continue to do good together and give children a happy childhood without pain.
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
