Gordiy is a kind, brave, polite, positive boy who loves to play with children. He loves toys and has many hobbies, even performing on stage. Now Gordiy is 6 years old. All the years of his childhood he has been struggling with his cerebral palsy of ataxic form. The boy also underwent kidney surgery for hydronephrosis and strabismus correction (he needs another one).
The family is doing everything possible to overcome their son's diagnosis and there are already significant results. The child walks, although there are still issues with balance, coordination, fine motor skills, and slurred speech, so there is still work to be done.
Of course, in order for the child to overcome the disease, he needs regular sessions with a speech therapist, occupational therapist, correctional teacher, sensory integration, swimming pool, and others.
The Foundation has paid for an intensive rehabilitation course for Gordiy and is happy to see his success!
"Coordination and balance have improved. He began to perform tasks much more confidently and quickly. His speech has become clearer. Also, the lessons with the correctional teacher gave their results - fine motor skills and memory improved. He is no longer afraid to dive, he has become more confident in the water," says Gordiy's mother and continues:
"We are extremely grateful to the Bonus Ukraine Foundation that my child had the opportunity to undergo comprehensive rehabilitation, became stronger and healthier!
We also thank those who care for the donations and support of the wards of the Foundation.
Together we are a great force for good!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
