Volodymyr is a kind, smiling boy who, despite his young age, has already been through more than many adults. He was born prematurely, at 27 weeks of pregnancy, and spent almost three months in hospital. The little boy underwent two laser eye surgeries due to grade 4 retinopathy, but even after that, his eyes always shine with curiosity about the world. He loves reading books, playing with dinosaurs, and dreams of becoming a scientist one day.
Vladimir has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy: spastic tetraplegia (GMFCS level 4), dislocation of the right hip, flexion contractures of the knee joints, and significant gait and support disorders. To give the boy a chance for painless movement and improved quality of life, he needed complex surgery for open hip dislocation and the installation of implants in his right leg and correction of the dislocation in his left leg.
Thanks to your kind hearts and the support of donors, the Foundation was able to pay for the surgery and necessary implants for Volodymyr.
He is still in hospital and has a long recovery ahead of him, but this is already a huge step towards moving more freely and getting closer to his dreams.
We sincerely thank everyone who joins in helping children.
Every hryvnia is a chance for a child to have a healthy future!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
