The Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation continues to support its ward, Roman, who underwent complex spinal surgery.
Previously, the Foundation paid for a polysegmental structure to fix the spine, which enabled doctors to stabilise the boy's spine and prevent further deformities. There was a report on the operation.
After the surgery, Roman needed additional orthopaedic support — a special corset that he had to wear for 6 months to support his spine until the implants fully healed. The Foundation also purchased this corset for Roman to ensure a safe and effective recovery process.
The boy's mother shared her sincere words of gratitude to everyone who supported the family:
"I sincerely express my deep gratitude to you for your invaluable help.
Your support was decisive: thanks to the Foundation, it was possible to perform a complex operation and purchase the necessary corset. Without your promptness and financial assistance, Romchik's recovery would have been much more difficult and prolonged.
This assistance is not just material support, it is a manifestation of tremendous humanity, compassion and care that gives hope and faith in goodness."
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
