Alexandra was born a healthy girl. However, at 5 months of age, she suffered from severe herpetic encephalitis, which caused serious damage to her brain: the right hemisphere and left temporal lobe were completely damaged.
Since then, the fight for her life has begun with diagnoses of drug-resistant epilepsy, left-sided paresis of the arm and leg, severe seizures... But at the same time, the family and doctors have unshakeable faith in this beautiful girl.
Little Oleksandra has already undergone three complex operations:
colostomy, right hemispherectomy, and vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) implant.
The girl is bravely navigating this difficult path to health.
The Foundation also supported Oleksandra and paid for a rehabilitation course in Modrychi.
These sessions marked a new stage in her achievements. Today, she can already walk with support, has strengthened her muscles, learned to better control her movements, and consolidated her self-care skills. These are not just small steps — they are her great victory over pain and limitations.
Thank you to everyone who helped make a miracle happen for this strong girl. Thanks to your support, she is moving towards her future, albeit in small steps!
Help children, make miracles happen for them!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
