Sofia is a cheerful 7-year-old girl who loves to play on playgrounds with other children. But, unfortunately, they do not understand her.
The child was born with hypoxia and did not cry out. Later, this situation had an impact on the child's development. At 5 months, Sofia could not hold her head and did not crawl on time. At the age of one and a half, she was diagnosed with a psycho-speech delay. At the age of five, a rare genetic mutation of chromosomes responsible for developmental and speech delays was confirmed in Germany.
Today, Sofia still has a developmental delay: she speaks poorly, has impaired coordination, unsteadiness when walking, and partially understands addressed speech. Sofia regularly works with a neuropsychologist. It is only thanks to the constant lessons that the girl walks, talks a little, understands something, has improved in psycho-emotional terms, is a little more concentrated, more persevering and calm. The mother is raising the child alone, she has no money for rehabilitation, and the child really needs it.
The Foundation helped Sofia and paid for the rehabilitation course.
After completing the course, Sofia's gait improved, her neck began to turn a little better (there was a problem), the girl began to speak new words, sentences became more meaningful, and her vocabulary expanded. The child became more active.
