Serhiy deserves a life without limitations!

Five years ago, Serhiy’s life changed dramatically after he accidentally fell from a height. He underwent emergency surgery due to severe damage to his pancreas, a bruised kidney and a haematoma, as well as a pseudocyst of the pancreas.
But his ordeal did not end there. Just a month later, Serhiy began to limp. Following examinations, doctors diagnosed him with type 4 Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease.
Initially, the doctors hoped that conservative treatment would help halt the progression of the disease. Unfortunately, however, Serhiy’s condition continued to deteriorate. Today, the boy is registered as disabled and gets around on crutches.

Serhiy loves listening to songs and dreams of being able to do the things that children normally do again, especially riding a bike. At the moment, he is unable to do so due to his health condition.
To give Sergei a chance to improve his mobility and return to a more active life, the ‘Bonum Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation has funded the purchase of an implant and surgery on Sergei’s hip joint.

We sincerely wish Serhiy a successful recovery. May this step mark the beginning of a new chapter — free from constant pain, crutches and limitations.
