Rehabilitation from Bonum: Mykhailo’s muscles are getting stronger!

Mykhailo is 10 years old. He has been diagnosed with congenital muscular dystrophy with contractures.

Thanks to the support of the Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation, Mykhailo is undergoing a second course of rehabilitation.

During this time, significant progress has been made: his muscles have become more flexible, constant tension has decreased, and complications and the development of contractures in his arms have been prevented. Muscle mass has gradually begun to increase, and Mykhailo has become more mobile and slightly stronger.

The specialists have also been working on the child’s back; they have managed to straighten it slightly, and it is clear that his back muscles are gradually becoming more engaged. It has become easier for him to maintain good posture, and the functioning of his internal organs has also improved.

To some, these may seem like small changes, but for Mykhailyk, every such result is incredibly important.
