Polina was born in Kherson with serious diagnoses — congenital heart defect, mitochondrial dysfunction, and neurodevelopmental delay. Thanks to caring people and the Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation, the necessary funds were raised and a successful heart surgery was performed on the child.
Furthermore, to support Polina's body, the Foundation purchased the necessary medication (which directly affects the child's immunity, general health, and emotional development) and paid for a consultation with a neurologist to adjust the treatment plan.
Thanks to this assistance, Polina has been given the chance to improve her well-being and normalise her nutrition.
Despite losing her home after the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant was blown up and being separated from her military father, Polina is making progress every day: she can now run without getting tired, draw, learn to count and read, eat better and be happier. She still has treatment ahead of her, but we are all delighted with her results.
Together, we have helped Polina take another step towards a healthy and happy childhood.
However, dozens of other children whose mothers have turned to the fund are still waiting for help, so let's continue to support our little Ukrainians. Your donation of a few hryvnias brings sick children closer to their dream of recovery.
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
