Maksym's first steps!

The main achievement is the first steps in a walker! To fulfill his dream of walking, the boy has been making incredible efforts for more than 10 years and now he has finally taken his first steps

Maksym's birth was difficult, he spent almost a day in the womb without any amniotic fluid around him. This resulted in brain asphyxiation, intensive care, then two weeks in the hospital and a lot of medications. Everything seemed to be fine, and Maksym and his mother went home, but the boy's mother began to notice a lag in the child's development, so she rushed to the doctors again.
After a series of tests, they learned about the disappointing diagnosis: Cerebral palsy, double hemiplegia (GMFCS level V, MACS level IV) F 07.9, level 1 speech impairment, dysarthria.
From the moment the enemy of the child's health was recognized, they began to fight it: rehabilitation, massages, exercise therapy, electrophares, and medical interventions.  As a result, Maksym began to speak, develop, and needed constant training to improve and consolidate his successful skills.
The Foundation helped Maksym by paying for a rehabilitation course with specialists. During the lessons, the boy diligently performed all the tasks, became mentally and physically stronger!
His memory and emotional state have improved, his level of knowledge and intelligence has become better!

We are proud of Maksym's success, we are pleased that the Foundation and the caring people who donated funds for Maksym's rehabilitation have brought his dream of walking on his own closer!

We want children to have no obstacles to their dreams come true because of illnesses and diagnoses.

The Foundation has helped and will continue to help young Ukrainians to overcome the road to a healthy and happy childhood.
