Lyubomir is home. The operation is over!

On the third day of his life, the boy suffered a metabolic crisis. Lyubomir survived two episodes of clinical death. And from the age of two months, his parents began fighting every day for his development.

At one point, the chances of Lyubomir ever being able to sit up were very slim. But today he’s walking!

However, the weight-bearing capacity in his feet developed much later than in healthy children. As a result, his joints were not functioning properly, pain set in, and long walks became almost impossible for him.

Lyubomyr needed surgery on the muscles of his hip joints and the implantation of artificial bone in both feet.

The ‘Bonum Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation covered all the costs of Lyubomyr’s operation. Now the most important thing is for him to recover properly.

The boy is already at home with his family and is gradually regaining his strength.

We very much hope that, after his rehabilitation, Lyubomyr will once again be able to walk confidently, maintain his balance, climb stairs and simply run without pain.
