Vanya and his family lived on the border with the aggressor in the Sumy region. They were forced to leave their home and move to Kyiv, leaving everything behind.
The boy had perfect vision — 100%. But one day, when an aerial bomb was dropped on the city, the boy experienced severe stress from what he saw. His vision began to deteriorate rapidly. Doctors explained that this was a result of the shock he had experienced.
After an examination at the clinic, Vanya was offered special glasses and special Paragon night lenses to stop his vision loss. However, the cost of treatment was prohibitive for the family.
The Bonum Ukraine Foundation helped purchase lenses, containers, storage solution, pain relief drops, glasses and pay for Vanya's hardware treatment.
‘I am grateful to the team of professionals for their care and kindness,’ says Vanya's mother.
We are happy that we were able to help Vanya, but we would also like to support other children who have suffered as a result of the war.
Join the Foundation's initiatives, together we can protect what is most precious — the health and future of our children.
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
