Kirill has spondyloepiphyseal joint dysplasia, which prevents him from running, and long walks are accompanied by pain.
To help the boy, the Foundation purchased two sets of hip joint implants.
The first complex operation took place in February. After it, the pain in his left leg disappeared, and Kirill began to put his foot down more evenly. The limp remained because the right joint still needed correction, as well as due to a 1 cm difference in leg length. Then the second surgery happened, which fixed the difference between his legs, and now Kirill can walk straight and without pain.
Kirill bravely went through this journey. Now he's got post-op recovery and rehab ahead of him. But he's already trying to walk, and we believe his dream of running will come true soon.
We thank everyone who supports our foundation and helps children see the world as bright and full of opportunities. Every hryvnia you donate is a step towards a healthy childhood.
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
