Just 10 hryvnias – and Ruslan can have his operation!

15-year-old Ruslan from the Cherkasy region suffered a severe traumatic brain injury as a result of a road traffic accident. Following the accident, he underwent several operations and remained in a coma for over two months.

Whilst undergoing treatment in Lviv, Ruslan had a shunt fitted, the cost of which was covered by the ‘BONUM-Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation.

The boy is now continuing his recovery and undergoing rehabilitation at a medical rehabilitation centre.

Thank you to everyone who supports Bonum’s work through donations and by spreading the word. Thanks to your help, we are able to pay for the necessary operations and treatment for children.

But Ruslan received the most help from shoppers at the partner supermarkets of the ‘Express’, ‘Velmart’ and ‘Velyka Kyshenya’ retail chains! We are infinitely grateful to them for their 10 hryvnias of kindness!
