Help Zhenya make his dream come true!

The Foundation provided assistance to 8-year-old Zhenya from Uzhhorod.
His mother contacted us with a request to help pay for an important genetic test.
To determine the exact diagnosis and further correct treatment, Zhenya needs to undergo whole genome sequencing (WGS) — an analysis that allows to rule out myotonic dystrophy and identify possible types of muscular dystrophy associated with nucleotide repeats. This study is key to determining the correct treatment strategy and further rehabilitation steps.
Thanks to your support, the Foundation paid for the genetic analysis, giving the boy the opportunity to finally receive an accurate diagnosis and move towards more effective treatment.

Zhenya is a very active, cheerful boy. He loves active games, sports, and used to enjoy playing football. Due to problems with his legs, he had to stop training, but he dreams of returning to his favourite activities. He sincerely looks forward to the moment when he can run, play, and live without pain and limitations again.
