Help for Dianka: the nutrition she needs to survive!

Dianka is a cheerful and smiling little girl who, despite serious health problems, continues to share her genuine smile with her loved ones.

She has been diagnosed with microcephaly, spastic tetraparesis, profound intellectual disability, symptomatic epilepsy, multiple contractures, thoracic kyphoscoliosis, gastro-duodenal reflux and protein-energy malnutrition.

In 2023, Diana began experiencing serious stomach problems: constant vomiting of bile, frequent hospitalisations, gastric lavage and an inability to absorb protein. As a result, the girl was losing muscle mass, and her condition required constant medical monitoring.

Towards the end of 2024, doctors suggested trying a special enteral protein-energy formula. It proved to be a real lifesaver for Diana — it helped her body obtain the necessary nutrients and, most importantly, go into remission.

Today, this nutrition is not just additional support for Diana, but a vital necessity. That is why the family turned to our charity for help.The ‘Bonum Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation has provided Diana with the necessary protein-energy enteral nutrition, Fortini Powder Vanilla 400 g, for 8 months.
