Polina is 7.5 years old. But her bone age is only 3.
Every evening, before going to bed, little second-grader Polina hears the alarm clock ring — it means it's time for her growth hormone injection. Without it, she simply won't grow.
Polina has a complex diagnosis: hypopituitarism, pituitary gland abnormality, somatotropic insufficiency, and other related disorders. She is the smallest in her class, and the children call her Thumbelina. But this Thumbelina has great strength. After 1.5 years of treatment, she has learned to overcome her fear and brings the syringe herself, because she knows that this is her chance to be like all healthy children.
The treatment is long, expensive, and wil continue for many years.
The Foundation has provided Polinka with the necessary medication for six months so that she can continue to fight for every centimetre of her growth.
Thank you to everyone who supports our children
Together, we give children the opportunity to grow, dream and live without pain.
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
