Bonum Ukraine Charity Foundation paid for surgical implants for Maxim!

Maxim underwent surgery to eliminate the effects of Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease on his left leg. Doctors performed compensation for shortening of the femoral neck and correction to form the correct angle of the bones.

Our ward is an active, friendly and sincere young man. He loves sports, cycling and, before the disease was detected, even participated in competitions. In November, the family consulted an orthopaedist because of their son's stooped posture and increasing pain in his thigh. However, the examination revealed a much more serious problem that needed to be addressed urgently. Before that, Maxim had never complained about his health. He was always attentive, obedient, and helped with the housework. Implants are very expensive for the family, and they are needed urgently.

Thanks to the support of our Foundation and your kindness, we were able to provide Maxim with the necessary implants for surgery in time. This is an important step on the road to his recovery, return to an active life and a pain-free childhood.
