The Bonum Ukraine Charitable Foundation has once again helped its beneficiary, Mykolka, by covering the cost of his operation. The boy has been battling juvenile osteochondrosis of the femoral head (Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease) and shortening of his right thigh for quite some time.
Bonum has funded Mykolka’s rehabilitation on numerous occasions, but this time urgent surgery was required to deliver cells and growth factors directly to the affected area, where blood supply is compromised and bone tissue is being destroyed. This should help improve blood supply, stimulate bone regeneration, reduce the risk of femoral head deformity and potentially shorten the recovery period.
For Mykolka, this is already his third operation in the last year and a half. Throughout this time, the child and his family have been battling the disease step by step, undergoing complex treatment and rehabilitation with our Foundation.
We are truly delighted to be able to stand by Mykolka and his family during this difficult time.
Thank you to all shoppers at the “Velmart”, “Express” and “Velyka Kyshenya” supermarkets, thanks to whom the Foundation is able to help children and support them on their road to recovery!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
