Alisa has beaten cancer and will definitely talk!

Alisa was born a healthy child. Neither her parents nor doctors noticed any abnormalities, only the fact that she did not speak until she was three years old was alarming. Naturally, her mother went to a speech therapist, but the lessons did not give much result. They said that the child was too young.
In the fall of 2023, the girl did not have a high fever and after an examination at the regional children's hospital, the doctor diagnosed acute lymphoblastic leukemia (blood cancer). It was a real blow to the family. But the parents did not despair and began the fight against cancer. Alisa spent almost a year in the hospital, underwent many tests, underwent 2 surgeries, heavy chemotherapy, which, unfortunately, has its side effects. Now Alisa is in remission!
And it seemed that the family had gone through hard times, but another problem appeared on their way.

In the fall of 2024, Alisa was diagnosed with another diagnosis - an organic mental disorder with autistic behavior. The family had no money for rehabilitation, so they turned to us. The Foundation paid for Alisa's lessons with specialists.
"Thanks to the Bonum Ukraine Foundation, our goal for Alisa to have a dialog with her mother is becoming more realistic. The speech delay is less noticeable. Our dream is for Alisa to be able to communicate fully and to completely defeat cancer! Thank you all for your care and help! ", says the girl's mother.
