Angelina is from the Zaporizhzhia region. Due to the occupation of her home town in the summer of 2022, she and her mum were forced to leave.
Angelina studied online for three years. Then, last year, her mum decided that her daughter really needed to interact with her peers in person. Angelina went to school, made friends — it seemed as though life was finally starting to fall into place.
But during a medical check-up before the new school year, doctors discovered a large tumour measuring 5.5 cm. She was diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma.
Surgery had to be carried out as soon as possible.
The cost of the operation was beyond the family’s means.
It was at this very moment that the ‘Bonum Ukraine’ Charitable Foundation stepped in. The Foundation paid for Angelina’s operation, ensuring that the girl received the necessary treatment in time.
The family is now awaiting the test results. Radioiodine therapy, further tests and ongoing treatment lie ahead.
We believe that the hardest part is now behind her. And we very much hope that Angelina will have as many normal teenage days as possible — school, friends, dreams, laughter and plans for the future.
Thank you to everyone who helps #Bonum be there for children exactly when they need help the most.
Together we can make a difference, together we can save lives, together we help with love!
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
