At the age of four, Kyrylo had to survive the occupation. Even when they managed to leave for western Ukraine, the family and the boy spent at least six months recovering from those events. He was afraid of every helmet for a long time.
His mother says that neither she nor the doctors noticed any abnormalities in the child's development. Kyrylo had stereotypical behavior, lack of understanding of the addressed speech and lack of speech.
After the diagnosis of ASD was made, Kyrylo started working with specialists, attending various classes, and the specialists say that the child is promising, progressing in development, understands speech at the household level, speech has appeared and passive vocabulary is expanding every day. These are excellent results, but the mother does not have the financial means to provide her son with such necessary classes.
That's why she turned to our Foundation:
"We were not refused and the Bonum-Ukraine Foundation paid for a costly rehabilitation course, thanks to which we were able to improve our results.
We received a course of massage, sensory integration, ergo therapy, HBO, psychological diagnostics, classes with a correctional teacher and a speech therapist at the expense of the Foundation. This is a lot of work for the child and invaluable help from specialists. We are grateful to the people who care and are involved in this good cause!!!!", she shares🙏🙏
After the course of classes, Kyrylo has a longer concentration on tasks, an increased sense of sensory saturation, improved muscle tone and body sensation, and a better understanding of instructions and their successful implementation.
The donation amount is non-refundable, and the funds are distributed among the foundation's projects
